Hi, I'm Karen. In 2007 I arrived in Yucatan from the UK looking for a property to buy and begin the dream of owning a vacation rental business on the Beach. On my first day in Chelem I was lucky enough to find the perfect place and immediately begin the buying process. In November 2010 I finally moved to Chelem, leaving the UK far behind and began my rental business. During this time I helped many of my guests to find their dream homes here at the beach. Naomi and I teamed up and formed House Hunters of the Yucatan combining our love of Yucatan, our local knowledge and our great team of lawyers, builders, archetects etc. We absolutely love to help people find their dream homes and to help them with all aspects of transitioning to their new lives here at the beach. We live in Chelem/Chuburna so we tend to focus on this area, however we do also offer properties further up the coast.
